About the Project

Alif Restaurant needed a fast, conversion-focused website that makes it effortless for guests to explore the menu, trust the halal promise, and take action—order online, call, or book the party hall. We designed a static-first, mobile-optimized experience with a clear hero and split primary CTAs, lightweight menu highlights for best-sellers, prominent hours and location details, and an easy path to reserve events. The result reduces friction from discovery to decision in just a few taps, while keeping performance, clarity, and local credibility front and center.

Problems

Before the redesign, Alif Restaurant’s digital presence struggled with several issues: scattered calls-to-action made it unclear whether to order, call, or book the hall; heavy images and unoptimized scripts slowed mobile performance; trust signals like halal assurance and operating hours were buried; third-party ordering links created choice overload and tracking gaps; and there was no simple path to inquire about party hall availability. Together, these friction points increased drop-offs, reduced conversion clarity, and made it harder to measure which channels actually drove orders and bookings.

Our Solutions

  • Implemented a bold hero section featuring a dynamic carousel of fresh ingredients with a one-click order initiation flow.
  • Introduced a meal categorization system highlighting nutrition facts and transparent ingredient sourcing.
  • Integrated real-time delivery zone validation with accurate estimated delivery times for users.
  • Optimized the mobile journey with progressive web app (PWA) capabilities and a frictionless checkout process.
  • Developed a subscription management dashboard where customers can customize preferences, pause, or resume plans.
  • Set up robust analytics to track conversion funnels, measure customer lifetime value, and refine marketing strategies.

Animations

Animations focused on reinforcing freshness and quality: hero ingredients used gentle floating motions with subtle scale transforms, meal cards revealed through staggered fade-up transitions, the delivery zone checker featured smooth progress indicators, nutritional badges appeared with spring-loaded scaling, and the subscription flow used guided transition animations. All animations maintained 60fps performance on mobile devices and included reduced-motion alternatives for accessibility compliance, keeping durations between 300-500ms for optimal user experience.
